The Woodworkers Institute

I recently stumbled upon a great woodworking site from the UK. The Woodworkers Institute is loaded with information on flatwork, turning, carving and general woodworking. There is also a forum that anyone can join and contribute to. So far there are a few slide show tutorials produced by members as well as professional writers. The site is run by Guild of Master Craftsmen Publications (GMCP) which is similar to August Home Publications here in the US. They produce magazines geared toward the home enthusiast and professionals in the fields of woodworking, photography and many other crafts. GMCP also publish books in many areas of crafts as well. An added bonus to the site, when you sign up for forum, you get the opportunity to get one their books for only the cost of shipping! The site itself is well worth a look. Check it out!
